Innovative Technology. Real Results.

Technology

VideoEmail marries two novel and innovative technologies to deliver true embedded video in email to the maximum number of mail recipients in your database. At the same time, these technologies enable senders to safely fall back to silent animated .GIF/.PNG video or a static image everywhere video in email is not yet supported – all in real-time – right as your recipients open each message. With VideoEmail, senders can safely and reliably add video to email without rendering issues or deliverability headaches.

Smart Video Versioning

Smart Video Versioning

Try adding a video in the body of an email – any video, any format.  You will soon discover that not all mail clients can properly display the video. In fact, some ISPs or mailbox networks might even try to block the message. Other mail clients will display a blank square, a red “X,” or throw an error message. Not exactly the stuff winning experiences are made of.

Smart Video Versioning bypasses these problems by automatically creating many video and image assets from a single source video file.  Each asset is created so that mail clients are able to display a properly rendered experience, regardless of any inherent limitations of that client. Simply upload a video to VideoEmail, configure a few options, and the system will create 16 unique video and image assets (and counting) from your single source video. VideoEmail’s in-house experts have already done the hard work for you by identifying which mail clients are capable of displaying which assets. See supported mail clients.

Real-Time Video Mapping

Real-Time Video Mapping

While Smart Video Versioning is important, it’s only half of the answer to achieving video in email. Without the ability to detect the mail client in use by each recipient, it would not be possible to deliver the correct asset to everyone in your database. Real-Time Video Mapping solves this problem by instantly mapping the correct video or image asset stored in your VideoEmail account with the mail client in use by each recipient at the time your message is opened. No amount of pre-segmenting your list, crafting multiple versions of your creative, developing or encoding custom video files, or spending hours manually deploying to individual segments would work; Real-Time Video Mapping is the only way to be 100% sure each mail client displays a compatible asset.
